DIFFERENT MEN. ONE TAILOR
WHERE TO BEGIN
You already know what an off-the-rack shoulder feels like: wrong, no matter what you paid for it. That's why more Liverpool executives and first-time founders are choosing a bespoke tailor over another made-to-measure rack. Whether you're leading the boardroom or still building the business that gets you there, this is a corporate wardrobe cut from scratch, not adjusted from a template: two or three exceptional suits instead of a wardrobe of average ones, and a tailor who'll tell you honestly when something isn't right yet.
You've stood next to the man in the rental suit everyone can spot from across the paddock at Aintree. Whether it's the Grand National, Ladies Day, or the gala dinner that follows, a race-day suit is judged differently to a boardroom one: it has to hold up in a crowd, in photographs, and against every other man who hired his. This is the bespoke alternative to hiring near Aintree Racecourse: cut once, worn for years, and yours alone.
You've been treated like a transaction before: measured, sold to, forgotten until the next sale. A private, one-to-one tailoring service works differently, whether it's for you or arranged as a gift for someone who deserves better than guesswork. Fittings at my Crosby atelier or a home visit, wherever suits you: a traditional standard of craft that isn't chasing trends, and a tailoring consultation you can book directly, or quietly arrange for a milestone birthday, a promotion, or a retirement.
The Michael Method ™
A private process, built around the man — not the garment.

STEP 1
the consultation
The first appointment is a private conversation, not a sales pitch. We meet at my Crosby atelier, your home, or your place of work, wherever suits you best, a one-to-one consultation, not a queue at a shop counter. I want to understand the life you're dressing for: the rooms you lead, the occasions that define you, and the impression you need to make before you speak. This is where custom suits in Liverpool truly begin, not with a measurement, but with you.
From there, I guide you through an exclusive selection of the world's finest English and Italian cloths from heritage mills including Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Dugdale, Loro Piana, and Zegna, and every decision is built around you alone. Each garment is then handmade and hand-stitched in Liverpool, so the craft you're paying for is real, not just a label.

STEP 2
Precision That Cannot Be Rushed
Your measurements become a pattern drafted entirely from scratch, built to your frame, your posture, and the precise way you carry yourself. Every suit is hand-cut in our Liverpool workrooms: full-canvas construction hand-padded to your chest, lapels hand-shaped with meticulous care, and buttonholes worked entirely by hand in fine silk twist. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is rushed.
Every seam is placed with intention, every detail considered by the same master hands that began the work. Whether it's a sharp suit for the boardroom, a statement suit for Aintree and the Grand National, or black tie and tuxedo tailoring for the occasions that demand it, this commitment to luxury menswear in Liverpool never wavers. It's what separates a truly bespoke garment from anything found on a rail, and why a business or formal suit made this way fits in a way no rail-bought piece ever could: singular, irreplaceable, and entirely your own.

STEP 3
The Fitting. Then It's Yours.
Once your suit is ready, you return for a personal fitting and consultation at the Crosby atelier, your home, or your office, wherever you prefer. Every refined detail is attended to: sleeve length, shoulder line, waist suppression, trouser break. This is where the final suit alterations and adjustments happen, not until it looks right, but until it feels like an extension of who you are.
The result is a quietly exceptional bespoke suit, the product of true bespoke tailoring in Liverpool, from pattern cutting to hand-finishing, worn by executives, founders, grooms, and race-day regulars across Liverpool, Cheshire, and the wider North West. Cut to your posture. Considered down to the final stitch. Ready for every room, and every occasion, that matters.
FABRIC FOR THE BOARDROOM
Choosing the Right Fabric for Your Bespoke Suit
The fabric you choose defines everything: how the suit holds its line across a twelve-hour day, how it photographs across a boardroom table, how it performs between a 7am meeting and an evening client dinner. I source from heritage mills weaving Super 120s and 150s wools, chosen for weight, drape, and how they hold a crease through a full working day. the standard behind every luxury suit and Bespoke suit I build for Liverpool's corporate wardrobe

Holland & Sherry — classic British fabric, woven with the weight and structure a corporate wardrobe demands.

Loro Piana — Italian ease and drape, lightweight enough for travel between cities without losing structure.

Scabal — Belgian precision cloth, built to hold its shape through back-to-back meetings.

Luxury Suits tailor in Crosby, Liverpool
The studio is in Crosby, a proper part of Liverpool, not a city centre showroom. Clients come from across Blundellsands, Waterloo, Formby and Southport, as well as the Wirral, South Lancashire, and Cheshire, plenty simply searching "tailor near me" and finding us on their doorstep. Some travel further. What they find is a working studio offering Savile Row-style tailoring in Liverpool: no theatre, no pressure, no clock to watch.
I built this in Crosby because I wanted a place where the work speaks for itself. That's still the only thing I'm interested in. Whether you want a slim fit, classic fit, or modern tailored fit, a two-piece or three-piece suit for the boardroom or a day at the races, the cut is shaped entirely around your frame, your posture, and the way you carry yourself, an alternative to off-the-rail designer menswear that fits like nothing else.
Every suit, whether it ends up in Liverpool, Manchester, or Riyadh, begins here, on this street, with the same process and the same standard.

MEET THE CEO
Michael Frackowiak
I didn't start here. My first career was in electrical engineering, systems, precision, understanding how things fit together and why they fail when they don't. What I didn't expect was that a single moment in a fitting room would change everything. I watched a man walk in wearing ordinary clothes and walk out in a suit that actually fitted him. Same man. Different posture. Different presence. Different energy in the room. I've never forgotten that moment, and I've spent the last ten years chasing it for every client I work with.
"A suit doesn't change who you are. It reveals who you already are, and makes sure the room sees it too."
It started close to home, and it's stayed there. I became the tailor Liverpool city centre professionals quietly passed between themselves, the answer when someone asked who the good suit makers near them actually were. That reputation grew into a different standard of men's tailoring across Merseyside, built one client at a time.
Today I work privately with business leaders, executives, founders, and the men who lead rooms across Liverpool and the wider North West: men who carry responsibility, and understand that a corporate wardrobe is part of how they lead.
I'm an engineer by training and a tailor by conviction. I don't make suits for everyone. I build wardrobes for men who understand that the way they are perceived is part of the way they lead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, this is one of our strengths.
We create bespoke suits for athletic builds, using a custom pattern that fits broad shoulders, a wider chest, and stronger legs—while keeping the waist clean and fitted.
This avoids the tight pulling you often get with off-the-peg suits. The result is a sharp, balanced look that feels comfortable whether you're at an event or on the move.
Absolutely. Race day style is a big part of Liverpool culture, and we design suits specifically for it.

Of course.
We offer custom linings where you can choose colours that reflect your style—whether that’s classic tones, bold colours, or even something linked to your club or brand.

While a full bespoke suit usually takes several weeks, we can speed up the process when needed—ideal for weddings, media appearances, or last-minute events.
You still get a high-quality, well-fitted suit, just on a shorter timeline.
A made-to-measure suit starts with an existing base pattern that is carefully adjusted to your measurements, posture, and personal preferences. The result is a significantly better fit than anything you can buy off the rail, without going through the full ground-up process of true bespoke tailoring.
At our Crosby studio, you choose your cloth, styling details, and preferred fit before the suit is cut specifically for you rather than to a standard size. For many men in Liverpool, made-to-measure offers the perfect balance between off-the-peg convenience and the individuality of a bespoke suit, delivering a sharp, personal fit without compromise.
